What God thinks about people with disabilities verses how people see others with  disabilities. 

Yes I see you staring at the girl in the back of the room who is a little different from you.  I see the way you look at her. Thinking to yourself what is wrong with her.  Or why is she the way she is. You sit there thinking that she does not see you looking at her the way you are. She just sits there and does not say anything to you, but she so badly wants to ask you why you are looking at her that way. She knows what the stairs and weird looks are for. You do not have to say a word she has herd all of them before. She so desperately wants to tell you that she is just like you. Yet she won't because she knows you will just say to yourself she is crazy she is not like me she is different. 

Why don't you for a minute put yourself in her place. How would you like it if you were not like everyone else and someone treeted you the way you are her. I know you are thinking that could never be me I am normal and she is not. Well let me be the first to tell you that things can happen and you could be worse off than she is. Did you ever think of that. Let me gees no you did not. Well how do you feel now. You may not feel like it is a big deal. You may be so full of yourself that you think I am to good for that.

 

But let me tell you  something there is someone out there who thinks she is really amazing.  You might be sitting there thinking to yourself yah right there is no one who thinks she is amazing. She is just a weird person. You may even think she will never make anything out of herself. Well that girl knows that someone created her just the way she is. That person is the same one who made you as well. That person is Jesus the created of everyone and everything.  He thinks she is really amazing. After all he is the one that gave her the gift that she has. Yes that's right the gift she looks at it as a gift not a curse.  She knows that even with her  disability God can and will use her.  You may think how can she say that it is a gift or that God will use her. It is simply the fact that God uesed a lot of people in the bible who had disabilitys to teach others . Just look at when he raised Laseris from the dead. Or how he opened the blind mans eyes. Or how he mad the crippled man to walk again. They all had disabilitys  and God uesed  them.

Just in case you got to wondering who the girl is in the story is yes that girl is me.

What to do when your plain is not Gods plain?

Have you ever ben there? Well that is where I am right now.

You see I have discovered that my plain and my dream for my life is not Gods plain for my life.

Well me plain for me life sense I was in kindergarten was to finish high school and go to collage and become a special needs teacher.

Well part of my dream has ben loast. Which is me finishing high school.

Yes I have found myself asking why. God why are you taking my dream from me?

Have I not tried hard enough? Is me wanting to prove those people wrong that told me I would never graduate wrong? (ever ben there)

Well if you have never ben in a similar circumstance you will fined yourself there one day.

 

 

 

 

 

I know what you are thinking how is there a bright side to this depressing story.

Well let me explain. Just like God never gave some people in the Bible things that they wanted like Rebecca.  Yet he still used her for bigger and better things.  It is really hard for me to see how God is going to use me in a bigger and better way than I could ever imagine .

All I have seen my hole life is God using me with special need kids and he can still do that.

I just have to trust in his plain and let him gide me threw this.   I know today was moastley about mothers, but at my church today the message was about the real struggles of a Christian woman. It really hit me how there plain was not Gods plain and yes they cryed and weped over it. Yet God still used them threw it.

 

 

 

So if you ever think that just because your dream or plain happens to not be Gods plain that you can not be used look at the women in the Bible who God still used in a mighty way.

What to do when you feel ugly? 

Has there ever ben a time in your life where you felt ugly? 

I know for girls that is a silly question. Because every girl goes threw a time in there life where they feel ugly. When was that time for you? What was it at that time that was making you feel ugly?  Well for me I know right now I feel ugly because of a scar I have on my arm from road rash. If you are thinking that had to be painful you are so right. So now I have this ugly scar on my arm. It is making me feel like all people see is my scar. Well this applies to our walk with God as well. We all have scars. Some of ours are from things we have dune in our life. For others it  is more of a scar that people can see. Just like the scar on my arm. 

      So how do you cope with the scares in our lives? Well one way is to realize that our scars do not defined us. You may be thinking to yourself how do the scars I have not defined me. Everyone can see then they are out in the open. What I mean is that yes are scars are a part of us but they do not defined us. We all have duen things that we are not proud of but does that mean that God looks at them as a bad mark on us for the rest of our lives. Of corse not. Once we repent from what we did wrong God does not hold the scars over our head. So why is it that we think we are ugly because of our scars? Well I think it is because we see our scars every day just like the scar on my arm. We sit there and think how ugly is that scar. Yet lucky enuph God never says that or even thinks that. God looks at us as a beautiful child. So why should we be so hard on ourselves over a scar? We should not be we need to learn from ours scars and move on from there. Just as God sees our scairs and still can see us as beautiful. We are all beautiful even with our scairs because God made us beautiful in his light. Just remember it is not God that wants our scars to defined us it is the devil. So take a long look at yourself and realize that if God will except you with your scars then except your scars and love yourself the way God loves you and walk in the light.
